At General Machine Products we have some outstanding employees, and we are very excited to proudly highlight some of our brightest and most committed staff in our monthly Employee Spotlight. October’s Employee Spotlight features our Director of Sales, Ted Clemens.
1. What drew you to General Machine Products originally and how long have you worked here?
I used to work for GMP in the summers during high school cutting grass and working in assembly. I have worked at GMP for 33 years.
2. What is your favorite part about working at GMP?
I enjoy working with our customers to solve their equipment needs. Many customers know GMP for our Cable Lashers, but don’t realize the full scope of our product line which includes fiber blowers, fiber pullers, duct rodders, and a wide variety of specialty hand tools.
3. What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I love dogs and my family always had one or two while I was growing up. However, with my extensive travel schedule I now own two cats, Jesse and Doc.
