Mid-Assist Fiber Optic Capstans
We offer three different sizes of capstan to work with our Cable Puller: 25 inches, 32 inches, and 40 inches, the largest of which has the capacity to hold up to 1000lbs of cable. The units are made of aluminum alloy, making it both long lasting and lightweight. These can be mounted on a standard 2 1/16 inch diameter shaft via a cross pin or bayonet type of connection.
This portable power source perfectly compliments the Hydraulically Limited Cable Puller. Get through long, tough pulls with its ability to distribute 8 gpm at 2000 psi. And it comes with 20 feet of hydraulic hose, allowing it to reach wherever you need it to go.
Set Up Options:
You can use the Hydraulically Limited Cable Pullers in three ways: First, you can opt for a self support frame, ideal for placing the machine directly above a manhole. If you’re looking to keep it attached to a truck for easier transportation, you can utilize the vehicle receiver mount. Or, you can utilize the socket mount to keep the machine in place.
