At General Machine Products we have some outstanding employees, and we are very excited to proudly highlight some of our brightest and most committed staff in our monthly Employee Spotlight. January’s Employee Spotlight features our Mike Taylor, Account Manager at CBM.
1. What originally drew you to CBM? And how long have you worked at CBM?
CBM is an Employed Owned Company and I really liked that I could have an impact in our company. After I visited the Corporate Office and met with Brett Cooper and Marla Sparks, I fell in love with the company. I knew this is where I wanted to work. I have worked for CBM for 2 years and 7 months and I’m looking forward to many more years.
2. What is your relationship with GMP?
CBM is the Manufacturers’ Rep Firm for GMP in the Midwest. I have responsibility for the great State of Texas.
3. What is your favorite part about working with GMP?
I really enjoy offering a diverse line of quality products that GMP has to offer to our customers. In my 30 years in the Communications industry I was always aware of the great products from GMP. Now I’m able to introduce others to those same great products. I’m driven by helping our customers be successful in the industry. It is a partnership.
4. What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am an avid golfer and truly enjoy being able to play when I can.
