This month, we would like to acknowledge our Mechanical Design Engineer, Karl Koederitz, who has been a great addition to our team since starting in March! Keep reading below to learn more about Karl’s role at GMP and some of his favorite activities outside of work.
What is your role at GMP?
My role is as a mechanical design engineer, working on supporting current production as well as new product design and development.
What drew you to GMP originally?
Originally, I was looking for a new opportunity closer to family in the southeast PA area, but after getting to meet everyone during the interview process, it felt very much like a family here too.
What is your favorite part about working for GMP?
My favorite part about working for GMP has been the willingness for everyone to try new things. Even though I haven’t had previous experience in the telecom and utility field, I feel that my voice has been heard and is valued.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I have a strong passion for photography as a hobby, and my camera bag is my carry-on for many trips.
