When working with compressed air, high temperatures are inevitable. The Compressor Aftercooler is designed to cool compressed air and remove those water droplets prior to entering a GMP Cable Blowing Machine. At GMP, we offer two types of aftercoolers, the 250 CFM Compressor Aftercooler and the 400 CGM Compressor Aftercooler. Our line of aftercoolers are capable of cooling air to within 20° of ambient temperature to optimize moisture removal. Both come with a heavy-duty moisture separator and coalescing filter to trap moisture and condensed oil. They are equipped with manual draining valves to remove the captured fluids. Our durable aftercoolers come self contained and packaged in construction skid with an expanded metal heat exchanger guard for safety.  Each come with their own unique features including: 

 

250 CFM Compressor Aftercooler 

  • Chicago fittings are provided on the inlet and outlet connections for maximum versatility in the field.
    Includes a 1-micron coalescing filter with manual drain
  • DC fan motor is run from the compressor battery and automatically starts when the system is pressurized
    13-foot power cord with alligator clips to connect to the compressor starting battery
  • Portable design for varied applications and mobility

 

 

 

 400 CGM Compressor Aftercooler

  • Boss outlet fitting (Boss 28) and inlet fittings (1-1/2 in. Pipe) are standard
  • DC fan motor is run from the compressor battery and automatically starts when the system is pressurized
  • 13-foot power cord with alligator clips to connect to the compressor starting battery
  • Optional 1-micron coalescing filter available
  • Adaptable stand-alone or tongue-mount design
  • Compact installation does not interfere with vehicle tailgates, etc.
  • Available in either 12 or 24 volt versions
